“Angkor Revealed” on Smithsonian Channel

In a similar fashion to the National Geographic’s Time Scanners series the Smithsonian Channel will present a two part series on the investigation of an ancient Cambodian civilization. Angkor Revealed will air on October 5 and 12 at 8 PM EDT.

Dr. Damian Edwards from the University of Sydney led a team of international scientists who used LiDAR to map the jungles and uncover the secrets of this amazing region. Angkor was the largest city on earth at time when London had 18,000 inhabitants. It is believed Angkor had 750,000.

I don’t think you are going to want to miss this.
