Autodesk, Inc. (NASDAQ: ADSK) is claiming that they have released the first design software products to run in a browser. This includes Autodesk Inventor, Autodesk Revit, Autodesk Maya and Autodesk 3ds Max. According to the release this is the first time that customers can access full-fledged 3D design, engineering and entertainment work in a browser without sacrificing performance, power or functionality.
Looks like they are teaming with Amazon to provide this cloud service.
