Measuring Ross Ice Shelf

ROSETTA_F011_LIDAR_McM_email-637x492These are the notes from lidar field work conducted by a research team on the Ross Ice Shelf in the Antarctic. It’s a well written discussion on some of the work being done to better understand climate, oceans and tectonics.

This is part of the Rosetta project which includes Scripps and Colorado College. The images are very well done and the science is explained in practical terms.
