Esri opens the User Conference with the 2016 Imaging and Mapping Forum today in San Diego, CA.
From the website – “Multidimensional GIS (that’s a new term) and mapping technology has a unique ability to communicate—in 3D and n-dimensional space—natural and man-made features for better analysis. Discover new innovations that enhance use of big data and take advantage of the opportunity to share, learn, and network with industry thought leaders. Then head back to the office with ideas that will improve workflows, collaboration, and decision making.”
There are six keynotes including Johannes Riegl, Jr., a representative from Harris Corp, industry veteran Kass Green and more. The ASPRS Vision of the Digital Earth will be one of the presentations on Sunday. UAS topics will also be included.
Please let us know if you see or hear something new and different.
