Using LiDAR to Better Understand Earthquakes

This excellent introductory video is a collaboration between the Southern California Earthquake Center -SCEC, and Open Topography. SCEC is a community of over 600 scientists funded by the National Science Foundation and the US Geological Survey. Open Topography is housed at the San Diego Supercomputer Center with a mission to develop an online, high resolution topographic database.

The more geo-scientists use LiDAR the more value they find.
