Time is running out for you to join us at one of the best, small geomatics conferences of the year. The AFB80 summer meeting in Sacramento, CA is just two weeks away running July 22 -25, 2018. This is an opportunity to meet the leading geomatics experts from DOTs across the U.S. The conference is open to the public.
The agenda includes mobile lidar, reality modeling, augmented reality, UAS, the 2022 datum adjustments, autonomous vehicles and more. Caltrans and the FHWA will report on current research activities including GPR and high density mobile mapping for pavement studies. There is also a field trip to the Caltrans TransLab and a presentation on subsurface utilities engineering.
Each DOT represented also provides a report on activities being pursued in their state.
