titanosaurThis is the story of one of the largest dinosaurs ever discovered. It’s 37 meters long and weighed 70 metric tons. Titanosaur  was found by a farmer  in Chile along with six others of a similar size.

The research team used 3D laser scanning to reconstruct the skeleton. “Attenborough And The Giant Dinosaur” will broadcast on BBC One on Sunday 24 January at 6.30pm.

  1. Francisco Goncalves says:

    Amazing, must have been majestic.

Question, since a farmer found the Titanosur, I assume it must been partly exposed. Six were found, could there be more same and different species? Has anyone thought of Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) and Digital Air Photo (DAP) as a tool to explore the surrounding areas?
