The International Journal of Heritage in the Digital Era

If you are looking for a peer reviewed journal in the historic preservation field the relatively new International Journal of Heritage in the Digital Era is perhaps the most appropriate solution. In fact to my knowledge it is the only journal of its kind in this field.

The Forthcoming Papers includes an impressive number of topics that will certainly be of interest to this community and beyond. The topics go well beyond laser scanning.

    Another well respected journal on these topics is the “ACM Journal on Computing and Cultural Heritage” (JOCCH) (http://jocch.acm.org/) that publishes papers of significant and lasting value in all areas relating to the innovative use of information and communication technologies (ICT) in support of Cultural Heritage.

    One of the first papers of this journal ( Sampled 3D models for CH applications: A viable and enabling new medium or just a technological exercise? ) was exactly about the use of scanning technologies in this context…
