It’s just 3 weeks until SPAR 3D. This key industry event returns to the Woodlands, just outside Houston, TX, April 11 – 14. Diversified has put a lot of effort into re-branding this conference as a broader, “global showcase” for 3D technologies along with their eNewsletter and websites. SPAR is focusing on asset owners as the primary target group that they want to reach and attract to the conference.
This year’s program opens with two offsite events on Monday afternoon, one at the Eaton Center where a number of vendors will demonstrate their solutions and the other at the Montgomery County Sheriff’s office where the topic will be 3D forensic investigations. There will also be a professional development workshop for surveyors.
The keynotes on Tuesday morning will include the vision for mainstream virtual reality and a presentation by CEO Greg Bentley on the use of 3D to support the security operations for the Pope’s visit to Philadelphia last year. There will be two more keynotes to open the afternoon and then the multiple track presentations will begin.
So for all of the last minute procrastinators, you are getting close to the last minute. I hope to see you there.
