Lidar News (LN) has had a busy month, so much so that we are a few weeks late on voting for the Video of the Month for September 2018. We don’t want our contestants to feel left out, so let’s get on with it.
LN needs your help to select the outstanding video for September 2018 from the following list:
- The Rolling Shutter Effect by Destin Sandin – A highly visual explanation of an important, often overlooked camera issue which can affect UAS mapping.
- GIS Accuracy Assessment by Jarlath O’Neil-Dunne – Justin explains step-by-step how to perform an accuracy assessment of a land cover map in ArcGIS.
- Lidar Aerial Data Visualization by Nakanihon Air Service – This group in Japan demonstrates the many powerful ways in which airborne lidar data can be analyzed.
- The eBee X in Action by senseFly – The senseFly team provides a basic introduction to the eBee X fixed-wing drone.
If you missed any of these outstanding examples of the power of visualization this is your chance to catch up. All of them are under five minutes in length. and well worth your time.
