Laser Scanning, 3D Modeling, and BIM

The Alliance for Construction Excellence at Arizona State University is offering a 4 hour training course on June 14, 2012 in Phoenix, Arizona entitled, “Laser Scanning, 3D Modeling, and BIM – The 3D Future in Construction“. There is a fee of $199 for members and $229 for non-members.

It is the focus of this course that I would like to emphasize and encourage other universities around the world to consider. This kind of vendor – neutral training is not as available as it should be. With the increase in demand for these kinds of services the industry could soon face a constraining shortage of skilled technicians.

Time to step up and make this happen on a much wider scale.
