GeoCue to Launch a sUAS Subsidiary

I have had the pleasure of getting to know Lewis Graham, the President/CTO of GeoCue. To all of our benefit Lewis is a frequent contributor to LiDAR News and a true LiDAR industry pioneer. We even have an article to prove it.

One thing I have learned, when Lewis speaks you should listen. He recently provided the following information in latest newsletter:

“GeoCue will be starting a subsidiary company aimed at providing consulting services and software to the sUAS (small UAS) market. We actually started this work in late 2012 when we began working on volumetric analysis tools for LP360. The sUAS is going to be a game changer for the local area volumetric analysis market. The focus of GeoCue will be on applications where quantifying the metric accuracy of the derived products is important. If you are interested in being included in our sUAS activities, please send an email to suas@geocue.com.”

Good luck with the new venture Lewis.

  • There are few in the industry as perspicacious as Lewis. I would say that we all should sit-up and take notice when his firm launches an endeavor like this.
