The Consumers of Geospatial Information

asprsYesterday’s Frontier Day outreach program marked an important turning point for the ASPRS. By reaching out to the consumers of the geospatial technology and information that the members of ASPRS develop and produce a much broader audience is now being engaged.

In this case it was the oil and gas industry, public safety and 3D cities, but there are many more examples, such as insurance companies, the banking industry and of course Google, Apple, Here – there are really very few enterprises where geospatial information is not important.

When you think about it the ASPRS is the only professional organization where geospatial professionals can thrive and advance their careers. It’s time for you to take a look.
