Woolpert Selects Optech Laser Scanners

Woolpert purchased their very first Optech laser scanner in 1998. It was recently announced that they had purchased 2 Gemini airborne sensors and one LYNX mobile system. These represent the state of the art in full waveform digitizer and survey grade mobile scanning, respectively. That is a significant commitment from a leading US mapping firm.

If you had any doubt about the adoption rate for waveform and mobile this should ease your concerns. Woolpert is not going to make this kind of investment unless they believe in the technology and perhaps more importantly, in the demand for this kind of remotely sensed data.
