VirtuStick 3D Scanner Arm

This is different. It’s called the VirtuStick from VirtuMake which I believe is a German firm. The video show a prototype that is using the Asus Xtion Scanner. The arm extends the range of the scanner.

It’s an interesting idea which in tight spaces, such as a ceiling plenum or mechanical room could come in handy.

  1. I would be nice to see the scanners result in a 3D software.
