Okay we are going to put this in the “this is different category’. What we have here is a 10 minute introductory video to explain the use of LiDAR in managing Canadian forests. It is very well done, but since my kids are long past that age I cannot explain what the connection is with the Magic School Bus. I am sure someone can help me with that. Thanks to Michael Olsen for the heads up.

This is a very choppy, hard to understand cartoon, and doesn’t set the understanding of LiDAR forward one bit! Does the Magic School Bus organization have any standards?
It’s choppy because it’s a mashup that’s been dubbed over, not an official video. The first 2:20 minutes of video were apparently taken from an episode titled, “The Magic School Bus in the Rainforest”.
It’s a good attempt to introduce a difficult topic, but could probably use a little more simplification to communicate the message more clearly to the uninitiated.
