OpenTopography in cooperation with DOGAMI recently announced the availability of LiDAR data for the entire Oregon coastline. This represents over 100 billion LiDAR returns and over 10,000 sq. km.
As noted in a previous blog the Oregon Department of Geology and Mineral Industries is relying on OpenTopography to distribute their data online. Their have been some challenges in getting this to happen, but this certainly seems like a step in the right direction.
