The next 2 weeks are going to be busy. The first stop is Toronto, Canada to attend Optech’s 2nd ILSC – Innovative LiDAR Solutions Conference which runs from May 31 – June 3. The week after I am in Orlando for the Hexagon User Conference. More on that next week.
The pre-conference kicks off on Tuesday with a number of technical training sessions on both Optech hardware and software as well as software training from Virtual Geomatics. There will be 2 keynotes both from USGS employees – Dr. Gerald Bawden and Karl Heidemann. I know Karl has been involved with the base LiDAR specification project.
Thursday and Friday will add 3 more keynotes and a number of technical papers on both airborne and mobile LiDAR applications. I hope to see a number of you there.
