The New England chapter of URISA is hosting a free webinar to discuss the recently funded Northeast LiDAR data project. Registration is required for the September 9, 2010 event.
Photo Science is the contractor to the USGS for the collection of more that 8,000 sq. miles of New England and New York coastline.The project manager, Mike Shellen will provide a technical overview of the project.
Even if you do not live in this region you may want to consider attending as many other similar projects are being funded in the US and internationally.
