LiDAR News and Spatial Media Join Forces

As you can see, I have BIG news today. Our press release is here.

LiDAR News is joining forces with Spatial Media, publisher of several well known industry publications. I’ve partnered with them to take Lidar News to the next level–we’ll start with an eNewsletter and general site enhancements. In early 2011, we plan to roll out a complete digital magazine (to be available online, on the iPad, etc.). A group of contributing authors, including myself, will be providing the content. We are now part of a team that includes The American Surveyor Magazine (www.amerisurv.com), Machine Control Online/Magazine (www.machinecontrolonline.com), www.GISuser.com and others.

First of all I want to thank all of you for helping to make this possible and second assure you that the LiDAR News blog will essentially remain the same. It will just become part of a larger monthly online newsletter publication, which will include articles by some of the leading industry experts. We will also have guest authors so please let me know if you would like to contribute.

Some of you may have found server errors when trying to access past posts in the last couple of days. We are working to resolve this and expect to be back to normal soon.

Thanks again for your support.
