Here in the US we celebrate Thanksgiving on 11/24. Canada is one of the only other countries that celebrates Thanksgiving, but they do it on the second Monday in October. Have to beat the snow – just kidding. I lived in Ottawa for 3 years, and no Canadians don’t live in igloos, but 90% of them live within 100 miles of the US border.
Thanksgiving is one of the best holidays because it is focused on family and of course being thankful for all of the good in our lives. It started in Europe as a celebration of the harvest.
