DIY Time of Flight Scanner

This is quite an impressive, do it yourself effort.

This is the first test of the VirtuRange DIY LIDAR 3D Scanner. A laser rangefinder is mounted on two stepper motors. The motors are controlled by an Arduino. A Python script reads the distance from the rangefinder and calculates the point cloud from the position of the stepper motors.
