On Wednesday April 18 at SPAR 2012 the ASTM E57 committee along with a group of supporting vendors will host a session from 10:30 – 11:45. We will present an overview of the 3D imaging standards work that the committee is currently pursuing. Included in this will be a presentation on the ASTM E57 data exchange format with presentations by a number of the vendors that have, or are currently implementing support for the standard.
This is an opportunity for you to learn more about the work of the committee and to provide your input on the future direction of 3D imaging standards. That afternoon the E57 committee will also host a 2 hour meeting that all are welcome to attend.
We need some new blood on the committee. Please consider giving back a few hours of your time each week to this important industry sustaining effort.
