The big news to start the week off is that the American Society of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ASPRS) will be hosting their 2014 conference this week in Louisville, Kentucky. This year’s event will be the first for the new Executive Director and friend Michael Hauck.
The conference began today and will continue into tomorrow with pre-conference meetings and workshops. On Tuesday morning the opening keynote “Lost Cities, Lasers, and the Vestiges of the Colonial Discourse of Archaeology” will be given by Dr. Christopher Begley, Associate Professor of Anthropology, Transylvania University.
The conference continues on Wednesday and Thursday with multiple tracks, hundreds of presentations and the exhibit hall. Let us know what you think.
